Thank God It's Over....

Yes!!! i finally quit TGIFs!!!! Only after 6 days of work you say??? ahaha..yes...i find it too stressfull....

Allright...im a lazy bum...but it is really stressfull! i even lost weight according to caryn...which is a good thing but...i had 2 nightmares of work edi!!

Why quit u ask me??
1)Too stressful...they overwork...
2)Underpaid I get rm 5 p hour....wth....ppl who work in retail who do ntg but stand get rm 5 p hour...
3)The managers are pressured because the branch i worked in has the highest turnover of all fridays internationally. They get pressured...they pressure u...not good.
4)Am i the only chinese dub dub or what??? ok...there is one more...but...i dunno...we just dun click..

My fellow colleagues (mostly Filipinos) are sad of my departure...lol...only six days but the bond is there la...ahaha...according to most of my workers...my character fits the tgif standards and i can get my swipe card very fast (we go thru training...the fastest is 2 days)..not to brag but i can see for myself...im more ppl orientated...and most locals...don't smile much.

oh well..too bad as im overworked..too many customers...too much to do...otherwise it's a fun place to be..but to those who wanna work partime there...i suggest u be a SPG (host)...it's less tiring...

This morning i woke up feeling so relaxed...no more stress on thinking about work and when it starts...i can finally be free...haha..now i know the taste of working....i dun feel like finishing studies anytime soon..:P...but im gonna look for a retail job la...one less taxing....*crosses fingers*..but im gonna enjoy and chillout for a while!!!

ps: to those who think "alamak...ini virgin worker...macam ini pun give up"...note to you guys...u try working as a dub dub there and u really will get what i mean...

pps: i eat dinner at 1-2 am...why??? some shifts no break....and they don't provide food...

ppl who work in retail outlets get paid the same minus the hard work of washing dishes..cleaning tables...cutting lemons...restocking cutleries... cleaning stations...cleaning bars....refilling drinks... serving food and beverages....poor me

i wanna quit n find a job as a retail assistant...or at least a host of a restaurant...no more being a waiter...;(

TGI Fridays

Yeap....i'm hired..

today after cs i decided to job-hunt at curve. Haven't went for interviews before so abit kaku and nervous la...i decided to walk around to see which of the places would be more interesting to work at and settled for tgif... i tot they wud get back to me after the interview and i needed to walk around but they hired me on the spot...yay!!

tom wud be my orientation then followed by my training the next day....i know la i spoilt brat nvr work b4...excited excited...well at least id be working thru my holidays!!! can kill time....oh well...

Youth camp

Woo wee...im back from my 5 day youth camp...all in all...i think it was rather okay... though the message that was given meant alot, it didn't really strike me in anyway though..games were too few but those few ones were exciting..

I think i the highlight of the camp would be the high praise that was held the night b4 the last night of camp. I went in the worship hall strong and didn't want to succumb to hypocrisy of breaking down, rededicating my faith only to find me returning back to my normal self few mths later...i remember a long time ago back when i was in my early years of high school..back when the church was not renovated and we still had two services. During one of the youth fellowship meetings, eric asked me why didn't i go out during the call in that camp. I answered with the same reasons i have now.

So why? why do i think that there the high praise was the highlight? Yes, the music was good. Yes, the worship was power packed. But it wasn't those which affected me. Sticking to those reasons i gave many years back i hid myself in a corner wanting nothing to do with the alter call. Wanting no one to come and pray for me for i was not gonna rededicate. But at that precise moment when i was about to walk out of the hall to take another breather, Raymond came and talked to me. He then prayed for me. At that moment, a chill went up my spine and i was more sensitive to the lyrics of the songs and the prayer he said. Guilt came in. Listening to ppl give their praises to the Lord. And here am i, kinda backsliding a little. The words of Raymond's prayer kinda affected me alot. He made reminded me how long i was with ssgc and how long i have been with God through all the years. The good the bad. The times i doubted Him and the times He was there for me. The fact that it was raymond who came and prayed for me was shocker too. Perhaps it is a sign from God sensing my doubt and showing signs that He really trully is there.

Although those happened, i still didn feel that calling to rededicate and change 180 in a snap. Probably it would have to take time but for now i still feel tat im the same bryan who came to camp on the first day. But for now, i know that He is out there watching over me. Watchin my every move.

I'm sorry JinFong. I know you hoped this camp would really make a big change in my walk with God. Perhaps it did but results aren't shown yet for i might still be transforming.

I'm sorry Sarah. For not being there for you to advice and to listen to you when u broke down for i myself wasn't sure of what i was feeling. I felt useless as a senior and a friend when i had nothing to say to you.

And lastly, im sorry God for how i'm living my life for it is not the life You want me to lead. I can't change instantly but i'll try my best too.

Day 4 - Monster Garage

Today after breakfast i followed my cousin-in-law to his workshop. Their workshop named Monster garage (not to be confused with the show) specializes in rotary engines. Almost all of singapore's rotary car owners go to them to mod their cars. Why? because every now and then they fly in japanese engineers to tune their cars. I would love to post pics up but too bad my camera died on me.

I sorta have become a retailer for their new range of car lights which are SMD LEDs. For those car enthusiasts, SMD LEDs are the new range of LED with twice the brightness of LED, lasts longer than LED and consumes 10% of the original light bulbs energy. For those interested pm me and i will show some samples.



The lights available are for your signal lights, parking lights, reverse lights and etc.

Day 3 - Mt. Faber

Went to see the christmas lights last night...they were amazing...but only so much could be captured on my useless camera...*note to self: time to get a new one*..

Anyways...i realised that singapore truly is a food city...i eat all the time ler!!! fat wei...dun care...im skipping lunch in camp....lol...went for breakfast this morning at a coffeeshop...the prize for a bowl of whatever you eat is amazing..SD$2 only...wth...so cheap right??

Went vivo again after that to meet my other cousins..reunion after a long time..zzz....bored of vivo edi...time to go sumwhere new....

Random....cousin's car...lancer ex..

Day 2

The day started or with a normal cup of milo and breakfast when i heard screeches coming from below the hdb flat im currently residing in...i looked down and saw a taxi on its sides because it hit a lamppost...




Singapore was supposed to be very strict on laws....no littering...no jaywalking(who is jay anyway?) ... no chewing gum...well...nowadays....jaywalking and beating redlights too...u see the law is of that...when u see a green light... you can go...but if pedestrians are there...you have to stop...apparently he was speeding as he din see ny pedestrians...till one popped out...he jammed break..swerved and hit the traffic light...but that was just what we heard from a person who heard from another who heard from another....my guess....either he beat the red light...or a pedestrian jaywalked.




He jumped out of the car after that....alive n kicking...telling his lifestory to passer -bys...till the medics came...they brought him to the shade and did some check up....he came out clutching his left side...and went inside the ambulance...i guess he had injuries but was too shocked to notice..


Other than the accident....i went to queensway, to check shoes out...they aint as cheap as before...sorry bentay...the vans u wanted cudn be seen.... and the shoe i wanted in malaysia is double the price in queensway...geez....went to bugis after that...then came back to pasiris and went to white sands...on the way back i decided to drop by BK's and snack...love how their decor and ads...here's one

Live in kiasuland day 1..

As i arrived in singapore at night, i din get to do much....being the shoppaholic i am, i coudln't resist and had to pop into a mall...and so Vivo city it was...

When i came to singapore...i had a primary objective...to get a hoodie...or a track jacket...or combination of both...so yeah....i went round hunting...as vivo city is currently the largest mall in singapore..it was big and we ended up walking everywhere...here are some pics
